Middling is a dentist longing for adventure, while his saucy wench of an assistant tries to take him out for drinks.
He finally finds his adventure when a pirate named Jasper Crow comes complaining of tooth pain.
Afraid of needles, Dr.
Middling resorts to irrational measures to help ease the pain.
After he completes his job, Crow leaves, leaving Dr.
Middling yearning of adventure satisfied and decides to go out for drinks- only to find out he has a lot more patients to treat.

The pirate is suffering from toothache and Dr Robert tells him he'll have to extract the tooth but the pirate warns him he will not be having an injection by a needle under any circumstances which is going to make the extraction very difficultAnother short film starring Kevin Spacey , this time a broad comedy featuring a pirate .
In Alan Shelley's 9-minute short film "Spirit of a Denture" from 2012, we see Kevin Spacey as a dentist who ends up with the difficult task of having to get an aching tooth out of a needle-afraid pirate's mouth ( Brian Thompson). Even if the acting was not too bad here, the story was simply so strange and nonsensical that I cannot really recommend this movie.
